Contractor Agreement

Vfane may create a profile for your business using publicly available information. This Agreement applies when you claim your profile by creating a Vfane account.

Vfane does not employ you. We are a marketplace that connects you with homeowners. Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment, partnership, agency, or franchise relationship. You are free to list on other platforms and accept work from any source.

By claiming your profile, you consent to Vfane computing and publicly displaying a Trust Score for your business using publicly available data and information you provide.

If your Trust Score falls below our minimum threshold, your profile will not appear in homeowner search results. If you believe your score contains an error, contact us and we will review the data and correct confirmed errors within 30 days.

By claiming your profile, you certify that:

• You are authorized to operate as a contractor in the State of Texas
• Your business entity is in good standing with the Texas Secretary of State
• Any certifications listed on your profile are current and valid
• Your General Liability insurance is active with at least $1,000,000 in coverage
• All information you provide to Vfane is accurate and current

Vfane does not guarantee any leads, matches, profile views, or business outcomes.

Vfane is completely free for contractors. Donations are entirely optional. A donation does not affect your Trust Score, search ranking, profile visibility, lead priority, or any other platform feature in any way.

You are solely responsible for all work you perform for homeowners — including quality, safety, building code compliance, permitting, and warranty obligations. Vfane has no involvement in, responsibility for, or liability related to your work.

Vfane is not liable for any lost profits, lost leads, reputational harm, or any other damages. Because the platform is free, Vfane's total liability to you for any claim is limited to one hundred dollars ($100).

If a homeowner sues Vfane because of work you performed, you agree to defend and hold Vfane harmless from that claim — including reasonable attorney fees.

You keep ownership of your photos, logos, and business information. By uploading content, you grant us permission to display it on the platform and in promotional materials.

This Agreement is governed by Texas law. Disputes go to the courts in Harris County, Texas.
